HOW TO CONFIGURE THE NEW NIGHT MODE ON MYFOX ALARM ?
The Myfox Security app as well as the Myfox key fob offer three modes when it comes to protecting your home: armed, disarmed and night mode. The latter was just updated, and can now be customized. Let’s see how to proceed.
Night mode is represented by a half-closed or half-open lock (depending on the point of view!). It literally means that you’re neither entirely armed nor disarmed. You’re kind of in between actually!
The purpose of the night mode is therefore to truly customize protection so that your system is only partially armed, according to your preferences. It’s very useful at night – hence its name! – in order to only activate external sensors.
Typically, the night mode will activate any front door and window IntelliTAG, and deactivate the camera, so that you can keep moving around the living room or the hallway, for example. You’ll also be able to deactivate potential IntelliTAG that may be protecting objects or interior doors. Upstairs, you can leave the IntelliTAG protecting roof windows inactive, so that you can still manipulate them at night in the last days of summer, when heat needs to be regulated.
In your application, go to the Settings menu and tap on “Night mode”.
This screen summarizes the operation of the night mode: “The alarm switch on if one of the selected equipments detects an event.” Here, for each sensor, you can choose whether it’s active in night mode or not. You can come back to make changes to these settings at any time.
We hope that you’ll find this new update useful in helping you better protect your home.
